DARK WATER II

DARK WATER II
(poem in haiku form)

Emily-Fine-photo

dark water mirrors
your face gently inviting
I must have been blind

took the other hand
could not resist the sweet stuff
crazy selfish moon

diamonds in her eyes
teased to climb forbidden hills
thought this was heaven

and she played with me
while snowwhite took me higher
wild days and wild nights

the bottles broken
landed hard in empty shell
our love exhausted

tried to find way home
where peaceful lakes are calling
and the rivers flow

dark water mirrors
your face gently inviting
I must have been blind
