Thick, Deep Inky Black

THICK, DEEP INKY BLACK

Thick, deep inky black
Milibars of granite
Grey cast layers of rainy veils
Screams of grief-stricken sorrow
Horizon of indivisible nothingness
Lamenting screeching seagulls
Swirling in water clouds, in water clouds
There, where knowing rests on nail beds
Remembrances die off soughing
And my blood as syrup sticks to my heart
Thick, deep inky black
